Careeb

Cool colors and handy descriptions make Careeb a product worth to hang in. Careeb is in beta stage. Apart from its album's cutting edge technological features, lots of features like chats, user communities and video sharing are yet on their way. Brief descriptions of Careeb features are found all over the site which help in taking full advantage of its features to an average internet user.
What makes Careeb different and special from other social networking sites like Orkut and Facebook the privacy and security it provides to the users. You can share and 'hide' whatever you want and with whom ever you want. You can even hide one set of friends from another set and restrict unwanted users to message you or gain access to your profile. This is a class and decent social networking site.
Here is a video clip showing how to invite friends at Careeb.
I will keep checking the latest developments at Careeb and keep updating this blog time. Those who desire an account at Careeb can send a mail at admaniablog@gmail.com to get a Careeb Invitation.

Careeb

Careeb is a new extremely advanced and secure Social networking site I have ever seen. Careeb pronounced as 'Ka reeb' (Hindi करीब) is a social networking site created by an Indian young entrepreneur from Hyderabad named Naveed. Careeb is a web based platform that helps users build separate networks for friends, family and co-workers, ensuring them privacy and social security across your networks.
Careeb is an Urdu word which means 'getting close' or 'getting together'.

Special Features of Careeb:
1. Your friends are divided into groups namely Family, School friends, College friends, Grad School friends, Just Friends and Careeb friends.
2. You can 'Hide' one group from another. This means, you can hide your friends in one group from the friends in another group.
3. You can decide who can view your profile and who can not.
4. Your profile display picture can not be saved or downloaded by others which gives lot of security to the users.
5. You can fully enjoy taking complete control of your Album at Careeb. One can decide which photo others can save and which are not (save of photos in your album is disabled for others).
6. People who are not your friends can not view your message board nor they can send you nuisance messages.
7. Specialty of Careeb is that you have an option to make your pictures sharable to world wide web.

How to get a Careeb account?
Its very simple. You need to be invited form someone from within. This is to ensure reliable and genuine networking platform for its users.

If yes, its a virus named w32.USBWorm. I have searched and found out how to remove this bug.

Press CTRL+ALT+DEL and go to the processes tab
Look for svchost.exe under the image name. There will be many but look for the ones which have your username under the username
Press DEL to kill these files. It will give you a warning, Press Yes
Repeat for more svchost.exe files with your username and repeat. Do not kill svchost.exe with system, local service or network service!
Now open My Computer
In the address bar, type C:\heap41a and press enter. It is a hidden folder, and is not visible by default.
Delete all the files here
Now go to Start --> Run and type Regedit
Go to the menu Edit --> Find
Type "heap41a" here and press enter. You will get something like this "[winlogon] C:\heap41a\svchost.exe C:\heap(some number)\std.txt"
Select that and Press DEL. It will ask "Are you sure you want to delete this value?", click Yes
Now close the registry editor. Now the virus is gone. But be sure to delete the autorun.inf file and any folder whose name ends with .exe in the pen drive.

Browsers other than Explorer

More than 80% of Internet users use Microsoft Internet explorer. This is not entirely because of the good will explorer has among the users. Most of them do no know that there are alternatives to explorer. This fact has been revealed in many studies.
Let’s see some alternatives.

• FireFox: This is well known as the browser of explorer haters. It took its origin and developed in the open source revolution. It is a strong competitor of Internet explorer. In 1994, Netscape navigator came into origin. It gave a strong competition to Internet explorer. In late 1990s, Internet explorer erased its presence and claimed itself as the leader. But in later years, with the help of open source, Netscape came back as FireFox. From that day, the number of FireFox admirers is growing every year. It has got good name in protection against spamming and fishing. Now its a Google product. It is well known for its privacy and security features. FireFox can be freely downloaded from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
• Apple Safari: Safari created waves in the field of web browsing. All these days, it was used in Macs and apple ipods. Recently Safari version 3 has been introduced into windows. 1. it’s 2 times faster than Internet explorer 7 and 1.6 times faster than FireFox. 2.Snap back- when you have gone too far browsing your way deep and do not actually remember where u started, this will take you back to the place where you started the entire browse. 3. Private browsing- if u chose this option, your browsing history and details will not be stored. You need not clear ‘cache’ addresses if you use this option. You can download Safari browser at www.apple.com/safari/download.
• Opera: this was created by Telenor in 1994 in Norway. Present version 9 can follow your oral commands. It can also read out the text documents on the computer for you. It can translate the selected text into 12 languages in a click. It shows the live thumbnails of your favorite web pages. It can download large sized multimedia files very easily.
